Maintaining the Right Attitude toward Giving

In this series we will explore how to maintain the right attitude and have the right motives when we give to others and support the Kingdom of God.  Do we give God our best or our leftovers? How are we using our time, talent and treasure to build up the Kingdom of God? Does our giving to various charities in our communities reflect the heart of Jesus?  Let’s take another look at our personal attitudes toward giving.

God desires to have a personal relationship with us.  He desires for us to get to know Him and His ways and to open our hearts and seek His wisdom.  This means He is always interested in the details of our daily lives.

38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." Luke 6:38 (NKJV)
